HT 4.5.12 & End of the year

We are here with another portion of new features and information about the end of the year.


We will be releasing a new version of HotelTime 4.5.12 this week, and you will find the following:


For ADYEN online payment, we are adding automatic payment release in case of ChargeBack/FRAUD occurrence. As soon as we receive a notification from ADYEN about the event of ChargeBack/FRAUD, we will notify the user who handles online payments to cancel the receipt.


Contact us to set up user notifications in HotelTime.


We are also extending the Booking data push by ISO3 countries, so you will now also find the country code of the reservation owner in the exports.


Bugfixes:


We have fixed the creation of a reservation and the list of rooms in a given type.


We also fixed the ordering of invoices in the paymaster.


You can also enter the partner's commission in decimal numbers, e.g. 17.5%. Previously, the system only allowed whole numbers.


We fix the transfer from the Libero system to HotelTime.


End of the year


In the first half of December, we will create cash journals for the next year 2023 in the system. We automatically create identical cash journals for the new year according to the current settings of your HotelTime. If you would add or remove any cash register later, you need to make sure it exists for the new year 2023 or add it manually.


What to do at the turn of the year?

The Accounting department: Anytime in the second half of December, check the cash journals and set up the number series and beginnings for 2023.


The Front desk: The change at the turn of the year should transfer the balances of the 2022 tills to the new 2023 till.


It's simple, and the whole operation will not take more than 5 minutes; it can be done by any user who has user authorization for Cash transfer between cash registers.

Termination of HotelTime 3.5.0


Version 3.5.0 will be discontinued by 31.12.2022, and it will no longer be possible to log into the version. Again, we strongly recommend that all customers who still need to archive their data from this release do so immediately. The version will finally be terminated without the possibility of data recovery.
