We’ve launched a new dashboard in Vento that gives you a quick and clear overview of your current operations, sales, and stock levels. The dashboard is designed for operations teams, managers, and hotel executives, helping you stay on top of essential KPIs.

Where to find the dashboard

You’ll find the dashboard in the left-hand menu of Vento, under the “Welcome” button. Access to the dashboard requires the Reports – Main Dashboard user permission. 

Dashboard widgets and update frequency

The dashboard currently contains 9 visual tiles. Most widgets are clickable and lead directly to source reports.  Since properties can include many outlets and waiters, the dashboard focuses on highlighting key deviations and top performers. Update frequency varies per widget – see details below:


  • Latest Closures – Shows total revenue with VAT for each area of the property during the most recent closing.
    Updated every hour.
     

  • Open accounts – Displays currently open table accounts per outlet incl. VAT. Locations with fewer accounts are grouped under “Other.”
    Updated every 15 minutes.
     

  • Cancelation Overview (Top 5 Staff) – Who performed the most voids in the past 30 days? Hover over a bar to see the number and value of voided items. The volume includes VAT.
    Updated daily.
     

  • Top 10 Sold Recipes – The most frequently sold items over the past 30 days. The volume includes VAT.
    Updated daily.
     

  • Sales Volume (Top 5 Staff) – See which staff generated the highest sales in the last 30 days. Hover to view item counts and total value.
    Updated daily.
     

  • Sales Timeline – An hourly chart showing how sales evolve throughout the day (last 30 days). The volume includes VAT.
    Updated daily.
     

  • Sales: QR vs. Table Service – Compares QR code orders vs. in-person service over the last 30 days. The volume includes VAT.
    Updated daily.
     

  • Sales by Outlets – Highlights which locations had the most sales over the past 30 days. The volume includes VAT.
    Updated daily.
     

  • Items Below the Stock Minimum – Shows items that need to be reordered. The list starts with the main warehouse, then ranks others by number of low-stock items.
    Updated every hour.
