Rate code setting allows you to set default expected payment method, this will be reflected in reservations.
Set expected payment method for each rate code, even for rate codes for channelmanager - there is one exception - if there is cc details in reservation from channelmanager, payment is allways card.
Settings -> Rates -> Rate codes - click on concrete rate code, and choose from drop down menu expected payment method.
