Simplified Reservation Search with More Information in One Place
We have simplified reservation searches and introduced a new dynamic report to streamline system operations. The new report allows you to combine multiple search criteria that have been consolidated from individual reports. Columns have also been merged, providing more detailed information about each room. Reservations can now be grouped by their number, enabling, for example, a block reservation of 100 rooms to be displayed on a single line. You can customise the report by setting which columns are displayed and which filters are applied – similar to the Room Arrivals Report. Existing search reports, such as searches by rate code, provisional reservations by expiry date, and cancelled reservations, remain available. More information in the article here.
Pre-authorizations and Tokens Created via Adyen Payment Terminal Can Now Be Linked to a Specific Room
It is now possible to assign pre-authorizations or pre-authorizations with card tokens not only to a reservation but also to a specific room. If you create a pre-authorization or pre-authorization with a token from the room detail, it will be marked with that specific room, making it easier to identify within a multi-room reservation. Pre-authorizations and tokens remain linked to the room even in cases of room moves, reservation splits, or merged reservations. Room sign for tokens and pre-authorizations are also extended to reservation settlement when using the "Create payment with a registered card" or "Collectpre-authorization" options.
Automatic Set of Reservation Nationality
For manually created reservations and reservations made via the channel manager, it is now possible to automatically set the reservation's nationality based on the owner's guest address. The nationality will be filled in when the reservation is created. To use this functionality, simply activate the new setting "Automatically fill in reservation nationality" in the property settings under the reservation tab. Additionally, you can now make the reservation nationality a mandatory field for room check-in. If you're interested, our customer support will happily enable this setting for you.
Improved Room Planning and Workflow with Changes to Technical Closures
We have updated the end time for technical closures (OOO/OOS), which will now end with the night audit on the final day of the closure. The room status will switch according to the specific OOO/OOS setting, allowing housekeeping staff to start working with the room in the HSK app immediately in the morning.
New Filter in the In-house Guests Report for Quick Searches
A new filter has been added to the "In-house Guests report, allowing reservations to be filtered by the name of the checked-in guest.
Change in Rounding of Document Payments
We have updated the payment rounding system for documents to ensure that amounts previously rounded up are now rounded mathematically. The payable amount across all parts of the system will now follow mathematical rounding rules, both up and down, according to the decimal places set in the system settings. This adjustment prevents exchange rate differences that occurred on documents for items in a secondary currency when paid in the primary currency.
Automated Export of Guest Ledger Overview
New regular exports of the guest ledger status against hotel deposits in XLS format can now be activated for you upon request. The export includes the current guest ledger status, divided by accounts (main, guest, PM), basic account information, and details about connected deposits. Data from different parts of the system are consolidated into one file, making it easier to account for closed periods. As the export is being sent daily, it is even easier to check the snapshot also in past.
Bank Details Now Visible on Paymasters and Outlet Previews
Bank details are now displayed on the previews of paymasters and outlets if they are set in the application.
New Column for Personal Identification Number in the Document List Report
We have added the option to display a column with the personal document number of the customer in the Document List report. When activated, this column is also included in the Excel export.
Thai Document Templates Now Support Adjustable Document Fields
Our default system templates for Thailand now include customisable document fields such as Supplier, Establishment, and Bank Details, when set up.
Visa number entry limit
In the case of entering a visa number, e.g. when filling in the Rooming list, it is now possible to enter 20 characters into the fields.
Technical Closures Corrected in the "Housekeeping Report-Basic" report
In the Summary Table of the Housekeeping Report-Basic report, technical closures were counted as stays. We have corrected this behaviour. Technical closures are not counted as stays. A room on technical closure is also not counted among "Total of vacant dirty rooms", "Total rooms to be cleaned", nor does it generate numbers for linen change in the "Total bed linen count" line.
The Reservation Account List Now Reflects More Precise Account Status
The Reservation Account List now correctly reflects already settled account items. Its display provides a comprehensive overview of the status of the main and all guest accounts, including their total amounts, deposits used, and the remaining balance to be paid.
