Hey, dear HotelTime users!
This Thursday, September 25, we’re rolling our HotelTime version 4.6.17 – bringing improvements that help you work smarter, not harder. Just a one-minute read to catch the highlights!
Big news for Housekeeping!
We’re introducing a brand-new all-in-one Housekeeping report that will significantly streamline your daily operations. No more switching between multiple reports – requests, notes, inventory, guest birthdays... now everything is clearly displayed in a single Housekeeping report.
Your Operations Managers will now be able to assign tasks to Room Attendants more easily, without the need to endlessly click through and switch between different reports.
And that’s not all!
You can now organise rooms into additional Operational Room Groups – for example, by floor, section, or building.
You can set these up easily via Settings > Classification management > Operational Room Groups, and assign them to rooms just like the existing groups in Rooms Overview and classification.
This allows you to create any combination of sections + floors or buildings + floors – tailored exactly to what makes sense for your operation. And don’t worry – these Operational Room Groups won’t affect any Managerial Reports used by hotel management.
Most importantly – the new grouping works across all operational reports: Room plan, Arrivals, Departures, and the new Housekeeping report all support it seamlessly. Your operations team will love this change.
Reservation confirmation? None will go unanswered now!
We’ve improved reservation confirmation sending within the Concierge module. The Concierge module now automatically sends confirmations for all reservations – even for same-day arrivals. This ensures your guests always have clear information about their reservation – and gives you one less thing to worry about.
Update to working with Deposit Invoices
It is no longer possible to partially cancel a deposit invoice that contains multiple items – such documents can now only be fully cancelled.
This change helps prevent unwanted discrepancies in accounting and will save your accountants one (or maybe even two) headaches.
Print grouped intems under control – fast and hassle-free
When creating your own print grouped items, you no longer need to handle it one by one – the "Select All" function is available again. Also, if the system automatically creates groups after final billing, you can now instantly reset them with a single click. Fewer clicks, more time for what really matters.
Departures report – now more meaningful
A small step for the report, a big step for everyone who works with it. In the Excel export, we’ve removed the duplicate "Reservation No." column – once is enough. We’ve also added a "Due Balance" column, so you now have all key information clearly in one place.
Profiles – Companies – the return of the missing address column
The "Address" column is back where it belongs – in the Profiles – Companies search. It briefly disappeared after the last system release, but don’t worry – we hadn’t forgotten where it should be.
And finally, a little sneak-peak of something great that is coming your way!
The new Loyalty feature is landing soon!
You may already start seeing new filtering options in some parts of the system – these are part of the upcoming Loyalty functionality.
We’re currently fine-tuning the feature and will share more details with you very soon.
