Dear Customers,
On Thursday, May 14, 2026, we’re rolling out the new HotelTime version 4.6.22. And once again, it brings a few handy improvements to make your life – or at least your shift – easier. Take a quick look: in just a minute, you’ll know what’s changed and where you can save a few clicks.
What’s new?
Print registration cards to PDF? No problem
HotelTime now allows you to set up printing registration cards directly to PDF.
Users can therefore work with registration cards more conveniently, without unnecessary saving of files to their computer, and with a faster flow through the entire printing process.
More information is available in the short guide HERE.
Sort your contacts exactly the way you need
A new sorting option has been added in the Name column in the Book of companies. Thanks to the sorting arrows, you can now easily sort contacts alphabetically after filtering, according to your current needs.
This new feature will help you find the right contact faster, navigate the results more easily, and work more comfortably even with longer lists of companies.
More accurate Deposit to use journal report
This report has been updated so that it also correctly handles a partial cancellation of a deposit invoice.
We have newly added the Cancelled column to the report, which displays the total amount of cancelled sums. The column is, of course, also available in the Excel export. The result is a more reliable overview that makes it easier for users to check deposits to be used.
Albanian lek now available among currencies in HotelTime
We are adding a new currency to HotelTime: the Albanian lek, with the code ALL. The currency will be available not only in the Exchange office, but also for use with other payment books. Users will therefore be able to work with the Albanian lek across the system in the same way as with other supported currencies.
Clearer export for the Czech Immigration Police
We have prepared several practical improvements to the Immigration Police export to make it easier to check submitted records.
You can now look forward to:
clearer e-mail confirmation containing only the truly important information,
a clearly displayed total number of successfully submitted records,
a more concise list of unsent records, so you can quickly see what needs attention,
the option to download the confirmation directly from HotelTime in PDF format without having to download a ZIP file.
The result is fewer clicks, clearer communication, and faster checking of submitted records directly from the system.
Pop-up notes now respect the application time
We have fine-tuned the time display for pop-up notes in a reservation so that it matches the local time set in the given application. Until now, pop-up notes displayed CET time, which could be confusing. Users will now see the note time in the reservation without needing to apply the logic of an international flight dispatcher.
Housekeeping all-in-one report now handles incomplete addresses better
The display of guests in the Housekeeping all-in-one report has been adjusted so that the guest is shown correctly in the Guest column even if the Country field is not filled in on their profile Users will therefore receive the information they need, rather than a silent system protest against an incomplete guest profile.
More convenient return when creating a reservation
We have fixed the incorrect behaviour of the Back button in the context window for selecting a reserving person or company when creating a reservation. The Back button now once again does exactly what its name promises - it takes you back, instead of simply decorating the screen.
An empty birthdate will now remain truly empty
The birthdate on the registration card now reflects what is actually entered in the guest profile.
If the birthdate is not filled in on the guest profile, the field on the registration card will now remain empty. Previously a placeholder date of 01/01/0001 could be displayed in this case, which of course did not correspond to the actual information.
A reservation will return to its place when permission is missing
The behaviour when moving a room in the Room plan using drag and drop has been adjusted.
If the user does not have the relevant permission to move the reservation, the system will correctly prevent the move and the reservation will now automatically return to its original place in the Room plan. Until now, after such an attempt, it could be necessary to refresh the page manually in order for the visual display to return to the correct state.
No more shifted totals in reservation search by rate code
In the Reservation search by RateCode report, summary values are once again aligned with the correct columns, so the values in the report match what the user actually sees above them. It could happen that the summary values at the bottom of the report did not correspond to the columns above them, but were displayed shifted one column to the right.
Your voice matters! Is there something you’re missing? Or something that works like a charm? Let us know – your feedback shapes the future of HotelTime. We’re building it together.
The new version will be deployed on Thursday, May 14, 2026, between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM (CEST). During this time, the system may be briefly unavailable, but we believe the new features will more than make up for it.
