New HotelTime version rolling out on Thursday! Check out what’s new

Dear Customers,

On Thursday, October 29, 2026, we’re rolling out the new HotelTime version 4.6.26.

And once again, it brings a few handy improvements to make your life – or at least your shift – easier.

Take a quick look: in just a minute, you’ll know what’s changed and where you can save a few clicks.

What’s new?

Even more reliable payments

We’ve improved the processing of payments using stored tokens to make it more reliable, particularly for cards linked to Apple Pay or Google Pay. This change helps prevent failed payments, for example during guest check-out.

New filter in the Reservation search report

We’ve added a new Reservation status filter to the Reservation search report, allowing you to filter reservations by their status.

You can now display confirmed reservations, provisional reservations, or both statutes at the same time.

Loyalty level display

To improve the user experience and make navigating HotelTime easier, we’ve extended the display of the Loyalty level to additional parts of the system.

You can now see it when searching for a profile while creating a reservation, changing the reservation owner, or adding a guest in the room detail.

Improved system behaviour after creating a new person or company profile in the address book

Previously, clicking the Save button successfully created the profile, but users received no visual confirmation. This could give the impression that the profile had not been saved, leading to repeated clicks and potentially the unintentional creation of duplicate profiles.

The system now behaves the same way after saving a new profile as it does when editing an existing one.

This provides users with immediate confirmation that the profile has been saved successfully and allows them to review the entered details straight away.

Display of missing identity document expiry dates on registration cards

We’ve fixed an issue where the date 01.01.0001 appeared when exporting a registration card to Word if the identity document expiry date was not specified in the guest profile for the following placeholders:

{%ROOMMATE|TRAVELDOCUMENTEXPIRATION%}

{%ROOMMATE|IDEXPIRATIONDATE%}

The corresponding fields on the registration card will now remain blank if the information has not been entered in the guest profile. We had originally considered leaving the error in as a tribute to historical figures. In the end, common sense prevailed.

Correction of the English translation of a cancelled reservation status

We’ve corrected a minor typo in the English translation of a reservation status, changing "Cancaled by client" to the correct "Cancelled by client".

The incorrect translation previously appeared in the dropdown list of the Cancelled reservations report and in the management report sent by email. English has never been a foreign language to us. It’s just that we sometimes interpret it in our own way.

Your voice matters! Is there something you’re missing? Or something that works like a charm? Let us know – your feedback shapes the future of HotelTime. We’re building it together.

The new version will be deployed on Thursday, October 29, 2026, between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM (CET). During this time, the system may be briefly unavailable, but we believe the new features will more than make up for it.

Wishing you an easy ride with the new release!
