New Vento version rolling out tomorrow! What’s improved this time?

Dear Customers,
On Thursday, October 8, 2026, we’re rolling out the new Vento 3.1.16.
And once again, it brings a few handy improvements to make your life – or at least your shift – easier.
Take a quick look: in just a minute, you’ll know what’s changed and where you can save a few clicks.
What’s new?
We've made a few improvements to 3in1
You can now also configure the mobile waiter not to print receipts.
On the 3in1 device, you can now print a bill preview, just like in the standard Vento application.
You can also switch directly to another configured outlet from the 3-in-1 device screen.
We have fixed an issue that, in some cases, prevented an individual discount from being entered if the waiter group did not have a preset discount value configured.
The "Show last bill" function now also takes the most recently created order into account.
The bill detail now also displays the remaining amount to be paid.
Vento QR Improvements
We have improved payments for open and shared bills in Vento QR. Guests can now also pay for items added to the bill by a waiter in Vento, even when open bills are not enabled in guest mode.
We have also fixed an issue that occurred when paying a shared bill to HotelTime.
Improved bill counters in Vento
Following the update in HotelTime, you can now also distinguish individual months in bill counters in Vento.
Sri Lanka now available in the country list
We have expanded the list of countries to include Sri Lanka. You can now select it anywhere in the system where a country can be selected.
VAT recapitulation is now displayed correctly
We have adjusted the display of VAT recapitulation in both closures and stocktakings.
In some cases, this section did not appear at all after a closure was created. We have fixed this, so VAT recap will no longer take unannounced time off.
We have also adjusted its display in the stocktaking detail. The total amount is now displayed correctly including VAT and matches the figures shown in the PDF output.
